Helen Wordsworth

Helen Wordsworth is a Brisbane-based haematologist. She works primarily in the laboratory at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, a large practice servicing Queensland and northern New South Wales. SNP provides support for a number of busy haematology/oncology clinics. Helen also sees outpatients at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Helen has particular interests in morphology and the associated diagnostic utility of cytogenetic and molecular testing, as well as the exciting therapeutic possibilities offered by these techniques. She enjoys teaching registrars and scientists, and is a current examiner in haematology at the RCPA. She is also a member of the Haematology Advisory Committee and the Board of Professional Practice and Quality of the RCPA.
