Paul Maguire
Paul Maguire has 36 years’ experience in pathology. He has worked in haematology and transfusion medicine in the UK and Australia and in a number of more remote areas including Nepal, the Falkland Islands and Kenya. He Joined SJGHC in August 2012, as Pathology Development (PDP) Manager for SJGHC Social Outreach and Advocacy, Timor Leste. His role includes planning and implementing capacity building strategies in National and District laboratories and building solid partnerships with pathology staff and Ministry of Health management. Current projects include advising on the procurement and installation of a new generation of haematology analysers and centralisation of pathology services in Dili.
