Rebecca Howman
Dr Rebecca Howman is a clinical and laboratory haematologist who works at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, PathWest and Hollywood Medical Centre. She is medical co-director of the Patient Blood Management program and chair of the hospital blood transfusion committee. Rebecca is also an adjunct clinical senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia, where is involved in translational research on the genetic diagnosis of myelodysplasia. Her special interests include the diagnosis and management of haematological malignancies, convincing people to think twice about transfusing blood and spending time with her two beautiful daughters.
